We are seeking a Teacher Aide to support the learning and wellbeing of boys who have learning and/or behavioural needs. Our Teacher Aides are valued for their role in ensuring all learners can engage with their learning, and will work with students individually, in small groups and in settings inside and outside of the classroom.
We seek applicants who have empathy, patience, are well organised and adaptable and have excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will also have the ability to form positive relationships with students, work collaboratively within the team, and have a great sense of humour.
Previous experience as a Teacher Aide, and within a secondary school setting, is preferable but not essential.
This is a part-time (up to 25 hours per week) term-time only position, to start asap and finish at the end of Term 4, 2022. A successful Police vet is a requirement for this position.
