Junior Curriculum (Years 9 - 10)
Students in Years 9 and 10 complete their learning of core subjects in their core classes. They select options from a range of subjects as outlined in our Prospectus.
Year 9
All students in Year 9 study English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health. In addition to this, students can select up to EIGHT options. All options are term long courses except for languages which are two-term courses.

Year 10
All students study English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education &Health and they also study TWO options for the full year. Several courses offer a small number of credits towards NCEA Level 1.
The handbook for 2024 can be accessed by clicking the YELLOW button below. This provides information to assist with course selection for 2024 - it is due to be completed by the 6th of September.
