As soon as I arrived at Upper Hutt College I could see many differences from my last school.  I thought they were really interesting.

I liked the International block which is there to help international students.  I also liked the view through the windows where we see that we are so close to nature.  We see hills and the fields.  It's so beautiful.

The big field where we can do so many things at interval and lunchtime is also good.  We can play any sports we want or just spend some time talking with friends.

I also like that we can choose our subjects so I don't need to do a class that I won't need for my job.  Year 13 students also get special treatment because we don't need to wear a uniform and can go out of school to buy some lunch.

I also think it is interesting that the classrooms belong to teachers not to students so each classroom has everything which that subject needs.  I like having a different class for every subject because it gives the opportunity to get to know more people.

I'm enjoying my time at Upper Hutt College.  It has been a good experience.

I like the buildings because there are many classes and good teachers who are really good at teaching and talking to the class.

It is good here because the school is located in a valley so there are hills surrounding us everywhere.  The school fields are really nice and when it is a sunny day students go there to eat lunch, talk to friends and play.  It's big with two rugby fields, one football field and still some space where we can sit and talk.

In the school we have a cafeteria where some students go to meet friends and eat their lunch when it is cold and the fields are closed.

I have made some friends here.  They are cool and we go places together and we always see each other here at school.  I have made friends from other countries and some Kiwi friends as well.

My time was so great in Upper Hutt College.  I enjoyed so much.  Upper Hutt College's staff are very helpful.  The school does so many activities so we have fun!

I really liked the co-curricular activities.  They give us a break and help us to make friends.  And they are fun.

Outdoor Ed course is the best!
