SENIOR BALL

The college has had a tradition in recent years of organising a ball for senior students, usually during the third term. Whilst a teacher oversees the organisation, much of the thought and planning is done by a group of senior students who volunteer to work as a ball committee. They will come up with a theme, find a venue, organise music, food, a photographer, security, ticketing and so on.

In recent years, the venues have included te Papa, the Wellington Town Hall, the old National Museum site in Buckle Street, the Trentham Race Course, the Duxton Hotel and even one of the inter-island ferries (in dock!)

Below are a few shots from recent college balls.
