Pacifika Variety Night 2010: Zippy Quartet Fundraiser Concert

The 2010 Pacifika Night was held in front of a full house on 30th July. The audience were treated to a vast array of entertainment provided by over 20 different acts that evening. The concert was a fundraiser gig for our Zippy Quartet who were chosen as finalists to perform at the 2010 New Zealand Secondary School Barbershop Competition in Hamilton. It was great that the community showed their support for the quartet by such a great turnout to the event.

As well as perfomances by the Quartet, other acts that featured on the night were: The Upper Hutt College Girls Chorus, The Upper Hutt College Year 10 Pacifika Band and the St. Bernards Boys College Pacifika Band, the famous "Four Tenors" group, featuring teachers from our staff, dance troupes, Bishop Viard and Taita College Barbershop Quartets, a haka lead by our 1st XV Rugby team and a traditional Siva dance.

It was a great evening, thanks to all who came along.
