EMERGENCY RESCUE TEAM
 The Team

Upper Hutt College has entered a team in the Hutt Valley Secondary Schools Rescue Competition. On Monday 15th March the team spent the day at the old Wainuiomata College participating in exercises and activities, under the supervision of the Hutt Valley Emergency Rescue Team. Nine different skill based activities were covered and the emphasis was on team work and co-operation. There are 2 more such days in the near future and the competition winds up with a morning tea with the Mayors of the Upper and Lower Hutt City Councils. The students in the team are to be commended for their attitude and enthusiasm - it was a fabulous day and they represented the school with credit.
