50TH JUBILEE

NOT LONG LEFT TO REGISTER! (Feb 13)

 

Registrations are starting to arrive in greater bulk for the 50th reunion weekend to be held this Easter: April 6-8. There are only some 6 weeks left to the event.We encourage those planning to come to let us know as soon as possible so we can have catering numbers finalised in reasonable time. The school is undergoing major property development and the jubilee will be the last time the College Hall will be in use. The first new block will be opened after the Easter holidays.

 

Any assistance with committee work, which is starting to increase now, would be appreciated. Meetings are at the college library now every week on a Monday evening at 7.30 p.m.. Costings for main events are  completed. Please use the attached registration form to make bookings.

 

The scenario at this stage is::

• Registration - non-refundable $20
• Friday night meet and greet at the College Hall - finger food and pay bar.$25. Starts 7.30 p.m.
  
• Saturday  - assemble at 10.30 in hall for "opening"; photos from 11.00 a.m;  tours, including "archives". No cost - photos purchased separately
  
• Saturday night function at Expressions in Upper Hutt City with dinner, live entertainment and cash bar. The venue has a maximum capacity of 500. $90 charge. ItchycooPark will entertain. Starts 8 p.m. with buffet dinner from 8.30 p.m. Finish at 1 a.m.
  
• Sunday light lunch at 12 in Hall, sports and farewell. Payment required for lunch $20
  
• A compact disc may be produced with photos and stories included
• T shirts may be available with prior orders depending on demand
